I HIGHLY recommend this experience! – What an amazing experience with Mihael Svilicic and his dogs, Mina and Roxie! We enjoyed exploring the forest along the Mirna River below Motovun and learning about the truffle hunting process. Mihael’s excitement when Mino discovered a 77 gm white truffle was real! Mihael’s delightful mother, Lorena, fixed a delicious 4-course truffled lunch including grappa and wine that our group of 8 enjoyed on the lovely terrace of their home in Motovun! An added bonus was free locals parking for the day/evening! I HIGHLY recommend this tour!!!

Rooted in family tradition
Some time ago in the mid-twentieth century, a teacher from the southern part of Croatia (Dalmatia) moved to Motovun. His name was Miho Sviličić. His love for dogs, gastronomy, and nature was passed on to his son Davor. The love for the white and black truffle enveloped Davor from his childhoood through adulthood. Soon enough, his wife and three sons accepted it as a way of life, and they share his passion to this day. At the moment, there are three dogs ready to show you what truffle hunting is all about. We also offer a unique gastronomy tasting adventure and various truffle products. We invite you to join us and experience truffle hunting first hand.
